In the past year we’ve learned a lot from engaging banks in Nigeria and Kenya regarding how they need our products delivered to them in order to drive more revenue growth via their retail customer bases.

We refined our products using these learnings to more readily fit the requirements and needs of digitally forward banks looking to stay ahead of the competition while meeting increasing demands by customers for more features in their apps. Our goal is to help the customers of banks reach their financial goals while being supported to live more convenient lives. As we achieve this, everyone —meaning the end consumer and their bank — wins.

Today, we’re excited to announce the arrival of our latest products designed to help banks and fintechs unlock local revenue-sharing opportunities, cultivate more creditworthy customers and increase savings AUM via their respective retail applications.

Here’s a breakdown of the Alvin product map (briefing continued below graphic):

Together, Alvin’s products leverage the power of AI, the accelerating open banking revolution in Africa and a country-specific approach to embedded localized services to help banks increase retail revenues at stable predictable costs.

These new products include:

  • Embedded Lifestyle Services
    Aggregating flight booking, e-commerce purchasing, groceries ordering and more into a single API for banks and fintechs to integrate to. Customers can earn 0.5% — 2% on purchases their customers make in their apps using Alvin Lifestyle Services channels with more services in the suite incoming.
  • Savestack™: Rules Based Saving
    Leveraging the power of Alvin’s Data Enrichment engine to enable retail customers to automate savings contributions based on their daily spending.

We’ve undergone a major change to Alvin’s look and feel. Our new brand is a reflection of core traits we’ve seen to be thematic amongst the individuals we’ve engaged closely at digitally forward banks who’ve helped with the designing of Alvin’s 2.0 additions:

  • intent to be the best in the industry and be known by customers and competitors for only using premium services
  • desiring a balance between cutting-edge and appreciation for tradition
  • an appreciation for clear, efficient design
